If you’ve already walked the Camino Francés, then you’ll know it. The washing machine. The washing machine of the Camino de Santiago.
It just stands there. Right on the path. That’s why it’s called the soda washing machine.
And it brings a smile to every pilgrim’s face, hundreds and thousands of times over, day after day.
Incidentally, it is located in Las Herrerias, the last village before O’Cebreiro.
So now is the time to bow down to her and say THANK YOU.
With this little homage to THE washing machine.
Therefore:
Thank you Dear washing machine
Do you have a photo of the washing machine? Maybe even a particularly old one? Or a funny one?
Then send it to us by email, and feel free to add your little story. We will then be happy to add your contribution to the article.
